Responsibility
Paperwise is the publication name. A Paperwise byline identifies the publisher responsible for the guide; it does not imply a separate expert panel or certification. Questions and corrections go to the publisher’s contact inbox.
Sources and scope
Our guides explain printing, scanning and PDF tasks using vendor documentation, standards and original worked examples. Sources are linked near relevant steps or at the end. A format specification supports format facts, but does not prove how every application implements a feature. Check the stated scope and your device’s instructions.
Examples versus testing
Calculated numbers, fictional sample records and dimensional diagrams are labeled as explanatory examples. They are not claimed as measured device benchmarks. We do not claim hands-on testing unless the article identifies the actual software or hardware, method and observed result. Printer settings and menu labels may vary.
AI assistance
AI tools have assisted with drafting and revising text, explanatory examples and site code. An AI-assisted explanation is not first-hand experience. The publisher remains responsible for checking sources, practical limitations and corrections. Report questionable instructions rather than treating a fluent explanation as a guarantee.
Revisions and reading time
We keep revision records internally. Check the guide’s stated scope and the linked documentation to decide whether the instructions fit your software or device. Reading time is estimated from the article’s text at 200 words per minute; it excludes carrying out the task.
Corrections
Send the page URL, the affected step and the result you observed. Include your application version or device model when relevant, but no confidential documents. Material corrections should update the relevant guidance and internal revision record. Suggestions can also identify missing steps or unclear limitations.
Commercial relationships and rights
Advertising is currently off. If introduced, ads should be distinguishable from content and must not resemble our tools or navigation. We do not ask readers to click ads. Product names identify the tools being discussed and do not imply vendor affiliation. Source links are not permission to reproduce a vendor’s text or images.
