What runs on this site
Advertising is currently off. We do not use audience analytics, user accounts, a hosted contact form or document uploads. Our pages link to external resources, whose privacy practices apply when you visit them.
Search and calculator input
Guide searches and calculations run in your browser. We do not transmit search terms or calculator input to a server or save them in cookies or browser storage. Reloading the page resets them. Printing the calibration sheet uses your browser’s print function and does not upload a document to us.
Hosting and security
Serving and protecting the website involves processing request information such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser information and diagnostic events. Cloudflare provides delivery and security services and may use security cookies or similar technologies. Provider log retention is governed by its operational settings and obligations; we do not promise a fixed deletion period that we cannot verify.

Messages you send
Email opens your own mail application. If you write to us, the publisher and the relevant email providers process your address, message and any details you include to respond or correct the site. Do not send confidential files, passwords, identity records or financial information. Messages may be retained while needed for the request, follow-up or applicable obligations. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion; legal or operational requirements may limit deletion.
Google advertising and future changes
Google AdSense is not serving advertisements on this site at present. If it is enabled later, we will update this notice and provide the applicable consent controls before advertising begins. Google and other participating vendors may use advertising cookies based on previous visits to this site or other websites, for personalization where permitted, ad delivery, reporting and fraud prevention.
Google’s use of advertising cookies can allow it and its partners to personalize ads using visits across websites. Google My Ad Center lets you manage Google personalized advertising. Read how Google uses information from partner sites. If additional advertising vendors are used, their identities, relevant links and available choices will be disclosed when the service is enabled.
Your privacy choices
There are currently no optional advertising or analytics cookies from our application to accept or reject. You can manage or delete cookies through your browser and contact us about your messages. Deleting cookies may remove security or privacy preferences held by service providers.
When consent-based advertising is introduced, a certified consent service will provide the applicable accept, reject and manage options, plus a way to revisit your decision. Rejecting optional advertising uses will not prevent you from reading our guides or using the calculators. Google’s advertising settings are a separate control and do not replace consent choices on a website.
Children and sensitive information
This is a general-audience educational publication, not a service directed to children under 13. We do not ask for sensitive personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information, contact the publisher so the message can be reviewed.
